27 July 2021 – Coeur d’Alene, Idaho – Two patriots used their lunch hour on Tuesday to gather signatures for the Brooks Recall effort at the entry of a popular local Gun Store. During the approximately 30 minutes they were able to work, each of the second amendment enthusiasts was able to fill an entire page with signatures.
Talking to the various signers, it was apparent that only a few had heard of the Recall movement. Once the issues were explained however, they readily affixed their signatures. Only three people refused to sign the Brooks Recall petition. Overall the reception was very cordial.
24 July 2021 – St. Regis, Montana – St. Regis, a small Montana town just across the border from Idaho, is host each year to a grand gathering of Conservatives with food, entertainment, conservative speakers and other activities.
This year;s festival was blessed with a couple of RINO Recall Activists who took it upon themselves to ask if any in the large crowd were residents of Kootenai County. A considerable number responded and when asked, eagerly signed the Brooks Recall Petition.
Who would have thought we could gather signatures to recall an Idaho County Commissioner in Montana? Bill Brooks’s anti-second amendment activities have gained him a reputation among Conservatives that has traveled far beyond Kootenai County Idaho.
Thank you to the Recall Volunteers who went to the trouble to travel to St. Regis.
July 17 – 18 – Greyhound Park, Post Falls – RinoRecall obtained a table for the gun show held this last weekend at Greyhound Park. Four RinoRecall volunteers took turns manning the table from 9 am to 6 pm Saturday and again 9 am to 3 pm on Sunday.
We received absolutely no hostility from any quarter – the vast majority of the attendees wished us well. Almost everyone whom we asked signed the petition if they were from Kootenai County. We took an unofficial count at the end of the day and amongst all of us we could remember only 4 turn-downs.
The only disappointment we suffered was that nearly a third of the attendees were from the Socialist utopia of Washington and another third were from surrounding
counties. Altogether we gleaned about 350 signatures. We were prepared with voter registration cards for anyone who might not be signed-up – but as might be expected we only used five; gun enthusiasts did not need to be reminded of how important it is to vote.
All in all – an absolutely great start to our petition gathering. We hope others who were out in the field did as well as we did.
